From the struggles of a Neanderthal family fighting for survival, to a modern anthropology scholar, and finally to a distant future aboard a spaceship, the film traces a common thread: the desire for connection, hope, and continuity.
In the Blink of an Eye: the cast and a high-profile production
The film is produced by Searchlight Pictures and features an international cast led by Kate McKinnon, Rashida Jones, and Daveed Diggs, joined by Jorge Vargas and Tanaya Beatty. The screenplay is written by Colby Day, previously behind Spaceman and the series For All Mankind, while Stanton himself is behind the camera, returning to live action after years of success in animation.
